Terms of Service & Content Policy
Welcome to PromptCam. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a simple, plain-language agreement between you and PromptCam ("we", "our", or "us") that explains the rules for using our mobile app and related services (the "app"). By creating an account or using PromptCam, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Who can use PromptCam
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) and able to form a binding agreement to use PromptCam. You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity that happens under it.
2. Your content and uploads
PromptCam lets you upload and share content such as AI image prompts, prompt text, titles, tags, and images ("your content"). You keep ownership of your content. By uploading it, you grant PromptCam a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute that content within the app and its features so the community can discover and use it. You are responsible for what you upload and confirm you have the right to share it.
3. Content rules
To keep PromptCam safe and useful for everyone, you must not upload, post, or share content that:
- Is illegal, or promotes or facilitates illegal activity
- Is harmful, abusive, harassing, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory
- Is sexual or pornographic, or sexualises minors in any way
- Depicts or glorifies graphic violence or self-harm
- Infringes copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
- Impersonates another person, brand, or creator, or misrepresents your identity
- Is spam, scams, repetitive, or deliberately misleading
- Contains malware, or attempts to exploit, overload, or interfere with the app or other users
- Violates the privacy of others or shares someone's personal information without consent
This list is not exhaustive. Use common sense and respect other people.
4. Moderation and enforcement
Submissions may be reviewed before they appear publicly. Users can report content. We may, at our discretion and without prior notice, remove or hide content, reject submissions, limit features, or suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are abusive or harmful. We aim to be fair, but we may act quickly to protect the community.
5. PromptCam Pro subscription
PromptCam offers an optional paid subscription, PromptCam Pro, which unlocks benefits such as an ad-free experience, a Pro badge, premium themes and fonts, and priority support. PromptCam Pro is sold and managed through Google Play Billing. Prices, available plans (for example monthly and yearly), and renewal terms are shown in the app at the time of purchase and may change over time, with any change applying to future billing periods.
6. Cancellation and refunds
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account; cancellation stops future renewals, and Pro access continues until the end of the current paid period. Billing, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Google Play under Google Play's policies. Refund eligibility is determined by Google Play, not by PromptCam.
7. Advertising
PromptCam is free to use and supported by ads (for example through Google AdMob), including native, interstitial, and rewarded ad formats. PromptCam Pro subscribers get an ad-free experience as described in the app. How ads and data are used is described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual property
PromptCam's name, logo, app design, and original materials belong to us and are protected by law. These Terms do not give you the right to use our branding without permission. Content uploaded by other users belongs to them or their respective owners.
9. Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the app (Settings → Delete Account). We also may remove accounts that violate these Terms. Account deletion is described further in our Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers
PromptCam is provided "as is" and "as available." Prompts and AI-generated results are user-created and may vary; we do not guarantee that any prompt will produce a particular result in any third-party AI tool. We do not control the third-party AI tools you may use prompts with.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, PromptCam is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will reflect changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
